Amonatbonk and VEB.RF made an important step to develop bilateral cooperation

Sirodjiddin Ikromi and Igor Shuvalov signed a Memorandum of Understanding between the State Savings Bank of the Republic of Tajikistan and the State Development Corporation VEB.RF.

According to the document, the parties plan to establish correspondent relations between the organizations in order to carry out mutual settlements, grant targeted loans and open credit lines to finance projects in Russia and Tajikistan. This will be an important step towards deepening bilateral cooperation.

In addition, the Memorandum implies joint implementation of programs and projects, including with the participation of multilateral development banks present in their economies, as well as joint analysis and evaluation of the possibility of implementing projects based on public-private partnership, advising on their structuring.

Among other things, Amonatbonk and VEB.RF plan to promote deeper economic integration in Eurasia through financing bilateral and multilateral projects implemented not only in Russia and Tajikistan, but also in neighboring countries of the region.
